Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a Medicare program that helps eligible families with the cost of basic dental care for children aged 0 to 17, such as check-ups, x-rays, cleans, fillings and extractions. To be eligible, your child must:
- be aged 0 to 17 for at least one day of the calendar year
- be eligible for Medicare
- receive, or have a parent or guardian who receives, an eligible government payment such as Family Tax Benefit Part A, for at least part of the year
